Four talented photographers share their photos, visions and stories about struggle, survival, culture and beauty in Latin America.
Saturday, March 31 at Accents on Eglinton Bookstore (1790 Eglinton Ave. West) 2:00pm-4:00pm. See attached poster.

ELIZABETH ARANIVA shares her images and observations from poverty reduction projects in Brazil, Guatemala and El Salvador. Elizabeth Araniva is a Biologist and International Development worker who has witnessed the transformations and beauty of these countries during the last 6 years.

ZILIA CASTRILLON shares her photos on Self-determination and Displacement in Colombia. Zilia Castrillon is a passionate freelance photographer and journalist interested in issues of environmental and social justice in Latin America. Zilia holds a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Assistance from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

SILVIA SARAPURA & GUILLERMO YUPANQUI share their photos from Peru and their experiences in photo and video-participatory research. Silvia Sarapura is a PhD Candidate in the Rural Studies Interdisciplinary Program at the University of Guelph. Guillermo Yupanqui is a grassroots researcher and photographer.
