Come and enjoy an afternoon with THCC Members and Friends….
Are you an entrepreneur, an engineer, a financial planner, insurance or mortgage broker, a business professional or do you work in a different industry? Whatever your role or title is, you should not miss this event!.
The THCC invites you to learn the ropes behind martial arts and how it can assist you in gaining the self-esteem needed to leverage within your everyday lives. We have teamed up with fourth-degree black belt martial artist Derek Lobban to teach us some of the ropes available to increase our self- confidence for our everyday lives. Derek will present the necessary skills at the Tiger Kim Martial Arts Academy. Come prepared to be given a hands-on demonstration that will awe you.

Derek Lobban – Tae Kwon Do Master and Professional Engineer; A 4th degree black belt training in Martial Arts for over 18yrs; An Industrial Engineer that has worked at the executive level with some of Canada’s oldest and largest organizations; Currently a senior consultant providing services in the public, private, government and not-for-profit sectors. The values of Martial Arts align well with the values of his profession, as a professional engineer he has to manage his business relationships with Honesty, Integrity and Respect, all tenets of Tae Kwon Do

Attendees should wear comfortable clothes e.g. T-Shirt and Sweat Pants, no shoes required -we will be practicing on professional mats.
Some attendees may choose to network at a local pub after the event – not included the registration fee.
The Academy is located within walking distance of the Eglinton Avenue subway station; however there are many parking lots within the area as well.
